LatiNation Media is stepping onto the pitch with a new daily live show called CopaNation, designed to bring World Cup stories, fan culture, and community conversations to English-first and bilingual audiences across the Americas. Starting Monday, June 15, the program will air across the company's mobile app, FAST channels, and YouTube, aiming to capture the energy of the 2026 tournament both on and off the field.

Football Legends Join the Lineup

The show's roster reads like a who's who of global football. Brazilian World Cup champion Cafu, Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo “Memo” Ochoa, and legendary broadcaster Andrés Cantor—famous for his iconic “Goooool!” calls—will provide expert analysis. They'll be joined by Mexican international Edson Álvarez, MLS standouts Riqui Puig and Timothy Tillman, and top creators from Liga MX. This mix of veteran insight and current player perspectives aims to deliver a fresh take on the tournament's biggest moments.

“CopaNation is built for the modern multicultural football fan,” said LatiNation Media CEO Andrés Palencia in a statement. “We're creating a space where the passion of the stands meets the depth of analysis, all in a format that feels like home.”

A Schedule Built for Fans

The weekday broadcast will run Monday through Friday, anchored by lead host Marcelino Ortiz alongside co-hosts El Chiva Mayor, Nik Z, Camila Ortiz, and Alex Crespo. The programming is split into two distinct blocks: CopaNation Mañanero will handle the morning slot with match previews, tournament predictions, and creator roundtables. Later, Carne Asada Halftime will serve as a live reaction hub, diving into viral social media trends and real-time fan debates—think of it as the digital equivalent of gathering around the grill after a big game.

This structure reflects a broader shift in how Latino audiences consume sports content. According to LatiNation Media, their platforms already reach 81% of Hispanic households in the United States and boast a digital user base of over 34 million. CopaNation is designed to deepen that connection by offering a dedicated home for World Cup narratives that often get overlooked by mainstream outlets.

For fans looking to experience the tournament beyond the screen, LatiNation has also been active in hosting live events. Earlier this year, the company organized watch parties in Los Angeles that blended football with Latino culture, a model that CopaNation aims to replicate digitally.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment for Latino sports media. With the 2026 World Cup set to be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, there's a growing appetite for content that speaks directly to bicultural fans who navigate between English and Spanish, between their heritage and their daily lives. CopaNation positions itself as a bridge, offering analysis that respects the game's roots while embracing the energy of a new generation.

As the countdown to 2026 begins, LatiNation Media is betting that the most compelling stories of the World Cup won't just happen on the pitch—they'll unfold in the conversations, the rivalries, and the shared moments that define fandom across the Americas.
